Northern Community Bank has created a Bereavement Fund to help Lancashire families left without coverage by a withdrawn funeral insurance scheme. The initiative provides financial support for funeral costs after external insurers cancelled the previous protection plan. Local account holders can now apply for assistance through the community lender.
